How much do I have to invest to work with you?

We believe that sound financial advice should be available to everyone who needs it, not just the wealthy. You also may have placed a significant portion of your wealth into your business. This is why we have no asset minimums for you to work with us. You don't even need to invest anything with us! We are committed to helping you establish and reach your financial goals, with or without investment management.

I Don't own a business; will you still work with me?

Absolutely! We tailor our service offerings to small business owners and entrepreneurs because we have the knowledge and experience to provide an exceptional service for these types of clients. However, we have served clients from many backgrounds and occupations and are well-equipped to serve you, even if you don't identify as an entrepreneur or you don't own a business.

Are you held to the fiduciary standard? why does it matter?

As a CFP® Professional and a fee-only Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) firm, we are held to the fiduciary standard. This means we have an obligation to always put the best interests of our clients first. Unlike advisors who are subject to a suitability standard, we must always help you make decisions that are in your best interest and are not tied to commissions or product sales (the best interests of the firm).

What is fee-only? why does it matter?

Fee-only is exactly what it sounds like. It is simply fee for service. Being a fee-only advisor is important to us, because it helps reduce conflicts of interest and is crucial for maintaining a fiduciary relationship. Fee-based or commissions-based advisors earn commissions on certain fund transactions and product sales. This means a trade can be placed in your account in order to generate some income for the advisor, even if the result is not in your best interest. These advisors may also be motivated to sell products to you that are not necessary, but "good enough" to meet the suitability standard.

What is the price for your services? How do I pay you?

We offer ongoing comprehensive planning services, which includes investment management up to $100,000 in assets we manage. The cost of these services can vary significantly depending on each individual's situation and start at $3,600 per year. We bill for the cost of our professional services on a monthly basis via AdvicePay, a secure payment portal that allows us to set up automatic recurring payments for our services so you never have to worry about making payments on time and have unlimited phone and email support with your advisor. Once you reach a higher level of assets that we manage, we apply an additional management rate of 1% on the amount assets, billed monthly in advance. This rate decreases as your managed accounts balance increases. Depending on the type of account, these fees will either be deducted directly from the account or from an outside account (i.e. if the only account we manage is a Roth IRA, we want to protect these tax-free assets and will recommend paying from another account). Where is your office located? Do we have to meet there?

Our office is located at 121 FM 359 Rd in Richmond, TX. While we do maintain an office in Richmond, TX we are able to work with you wherever you are. That can be in our office, the coffee shop down the street, or via virtual meeting using screen share and video chat capabilities.

We provide you with a client login so you can view your plans and accounts at any time. We also provide you with a secure portal to share files and store important documents that you can access anywhere at any time.
